Catch-22
we (as in feminists)ask for equality. We are not trying to turn tables on men. We're trying to remove those tables and put an end to it. I feel that we lack a lot of women's right here in kuwait. for example if your father is kuwaiti & your mum isn't you still can get hold of a kuwaiti nationality but if your mums kuwaiti and your dad isn't you are treated as a foreigner. How come? fill me in here guys!.the women that have elected themselves to me are very strong and wize instead of dreaming about being part of the parliament they turned it into a reality now this says something about them . I personally support Mrs Shaikha al-Ghanim because she very much driven and strives to keep kuwait settle and united as a family. I can't stop stressing how much i envy this lady. You will soon know what shes all about i'll update you on her events etc..anyway back to womens rights issue .We are expecting 1,500 journalists from all over the world on the big day to see what happens .for 45 years women have struggled to gain their rights, now that we have it we need to put it into use or else we will never experience what its like to have women running. we need to break the cycle and try women instead and you know how the saying goes "don't knock it until you try it!
